We stayed here at the end of July so it was HOT!
The gorgeous plunge pool with stunning views beyond, was just the thing for dipping in and cooling off.
You are really rural here but there are neighbours in the small hamlet, the local goat herd sometimes passes, you know they are coming by the sound of the bells.
The roads ( mountain biker heaven, didn't see any...mostly empty as well)... are interesting rather dusty and dippy but you don't see many other cars,(maybe a donkey) so that made, even me, okay with driving on and it's so well worth going about 'cause the veiws around here are truly breath taking!
The house was very pretty typically spanish with the odd gecko hiding on the shady walls.
It seemed like a cottage but was deceptively large. There's everything you need in the kitchen. The bedrooms are very pretty and spacious we had the en-suite which was grand!
There's plenty of shady places in the lovely gardens and a seating area near the house where the boys played cards late into the night, it was so warm and lovely in the evening at this time of year it was worth staying up late... afternoon siestas can be justified then! Everything shuts in the afternoon anyway!
As you are off the beaten track by quite a bit there is no corner shop so get your food/petrol when you are out. The mobile reception was not good(shame! ha ha) but you could go up to the roof terrace if you're really desperate.
We had a fantastic family holiday, would definately go again, we highly recommend this tranquil place!
